Terrific Tuesdays!

Shopping with Team Elite makes Tuesdays TERRIFIC!

Team Elite has some of the most talented artists of handmade items, today we are featuring a special shop who won this past weeks treasury challenge with her beautiful curation titled "where are you".

Our Thursday Treasury Challenge Winner doesnt just have an eye for creating beautiful curations, she has a pure talent for creating stunning fashion designs from wool!  This ruffled felted scarf created by galafilc is truly stunning! This scarf is made of soft merino wool through a wet felting process. Shawl is decorated with fancy yarn and silk fibers. It’s handmade and unique.

The colors in this Asian Art Fishing at Dawn Giclee Print by  BrazenDesignStudio is captivating!
"Fishing at Dawn" is a 9x12" (22.86cm x 30.48cm) giclee reproduction of an original sumi-e (Japanese brush painting) by professional artist Brazen Edwards-Hager, using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival ink printed on Somerset Velvet, which has the look and feel of watercolour paper.  I enjoy the serene, quiet, contemplative way of life which embodies Eastern Philosophy and I'm hugely inspired by Asian culture, their temples, landscape and gardens so it's a theme in most of my work.  This painting had the honour of being in the Livessence Show at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in 2010 and has now sold to a private collector.

Purple and green have never been more beautiful than created in this necklace by 2fillesdunordA gorgeous statement necklace that's so simple yet. These stick necklaces are all the rage! Faceted green glass gems and faceted lilac briolettes are strung along with marbled dyed stone discs that give that tye dye effect.

Our guest feature of the day is Annaart72
with these beautiful earrings created from old pottery shards. Wow – I can rarely find the shards with such interesting design – all of those vibrant but yet - soft color sure add up to the character of the pair.  This is definitely one of a kind pair!  Wear a true piece of history - thise shards are belond to the Ming Dynesty of China - 400 years old - cool historical bits of the past.
